ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

The application and the following information must be submitted for review before time of interview with school administration will be scheduled

Application packet must be completed and returned to the school with the non-refundable registration/application fee of $150 before April 1st, after April 1st $250,  and a copy of the most recent report card or school transcript.

A state-certified copy of the child’s birth certificate will be needed for K4, K5, & 1st grade students.  

A Medical Report must be filled out by a physician and submitted to the school office by
August 15, 2011.  All students must have immunizations required by Maryland State law.

Students applying for Pre-Kindergarten (four year olds) through grade 5  need to have the Pastor’s Recommendation Form filled out by the pastor of the church the family is currently attending and return it prior to the interview.

Testing appointments will be set up for student placement.

No student vehemently opposed to attending Calvary Chapel Christian Academy will be admitted.

The administration reserves the right not to define criteria whereby a student may be accepted or denied as a student at Christian Academy Christian Academy.  The school also reserves the right to place a student in a lower grade if deemed necessary.

REGISTRATION

Registering Students

Registration for new students may occur in the main school office after the school administrator has made a positive determination.  The registration process will be complete upon receipt of the registration fee.

All parents who enroll their children in Calvary Chapel Christian Academy must sign the Statement of Cooperation indicating to the school their willingness to support the school in all endeavors.  During the time of enrollment, we would like to feel that we have the parent's confidence and support.  Should there come a time that your support can no longer be given, we would ask that you withdraw your child/children from the school.

 

Students entering grades 6 - 8 are required to sign the Standard of Conduct Code

Parents of 6th-8th graders will also sign the Standard of Conduct Code acknowledging the fact that they are ultimately responsible to see that their child abides by the standards set forth.  Although younger students are not required to sign a conduct code, the importance of following the Conduct Code will be stressed.

All new students are admitted conditionally with a nine weeks' trial period.  If the child fails to make acceptable progress or does not adjust to our program, the parents will be asked to find a school better suited to meet their child's needs.
